We ate at a Bangladeshi restaurant in Toronto last week while visiting Niagara Falls. It was okay. But when we got back, we thought we'd try another restaurant. We went in to Red hot It was Wonderful and very tasty Bangladeshi style food. I request everyone to try it once.
This used to be my go-to spot since 2019, when I moved from Kolkata. I’ve brought so many of my friends here over the years, and everyone loved it back then. Unfortunately, the quality has really deteriorated now. Being from Kolkata, I came here for homestyle food at a minimal cost. But while the prices have gone up, the quality has gone down drastically. The kitchen even looks unclean from the outside, which is disappointing. The owners are extremely nice people, but sadly, that alone cannot save this place. I never came here for ambiance or customer service (which was always close to zero), only for the food. Now that even the food isn’t worth it, this spot has lost its charm.
went to this restaurant, and they allow people with no manners to sit there. These people don’t even know basic etiquette, they disturb others by talking loudly, and as a result, other customers get annoyed. The management doesn’t care at all about this. Even if you complain to them, they don’t take any action
I went in to try their shutki and asked if they carried different variations because I wanted to compare them. Instead of helping, the lady at the front (in hijab) took the shutki I brought with me from Ghorra (another spot down the street), opened it up, shoved her nose in it, and started loudly sniffing it like it was some kind of inspection. Then she actually took it to the back kitchen completely out of view and started talking about it to others in the kitchen like, “This is what Ghorra is selling?” It was so unprofessional and honestly extremely unhygienic. Not even Street food spots in Bangladesh wouldn’t do something like that. Super weird and made me feel uncomfortable. On top of that, the shutki dishes I did order came out frozen. Not fresh at all, tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for days. Also, the seating area is full of people who aren't even eating just hanging out, loudly talking, almost like a community center. It’s hard to enjoy a meal with that kind of noise and chaos around you. Overall, worst Bangladeshi restaurant experience I’ve had on Danforth. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
It is one of the best banglashi foods in Toronto. Thierry kachchi biriyani is cooked by a special chef, and it's unbeatable. Kichuri is another delicious meal served here. This chop and piazu is best I Bangla town. The owner is friendly and takes care of customers promptly. Seating style is a bit old, but the quality of food trumps everything.
I tried their kacchi, and it was the worst kacchi I’ve ever had in my life. It lacked flavor, was really bland, and the meat was really tough. I would never recommend anyone to come here
From the moment we walked in, the owner’s warm and gracious demeanor set the tone for a delightful dining experience. When my accent led to some confusion with the staff, he kindly suggested speaking with the female owner, ensuring we felt welcome and understood. The food was exceptional—my wife and I savored every bite of the well-prepared kebab and curry dishes, bursting with authentic flavors. Not only is it a fantastic spot to explore these dishes, but the prices are also very reasonable. This place truly offers a memorable culinary experience with top-notch service and quality food.
