Great place! The (ready-to-bake) cheese pie (also sells spinach pie) comes from Bulgaria and better than most Greek ones IMO (I’m Greek so I would know); the sheep’s yogurt from Quebec is fantastic! Love the smoked pork loin; you can buy it by the piece but they will slice it for you too. Another fave is the Elena smoked meat (best when sliced thin). Just picked up a piece of their bacon - will report back.
What a gem of a store this place is... All things Bulgarian! This is a mini Bulgarian grocery store and deli. Came across this place by chance when driving through here one day. Loved everything they offer... Lots and lots of Krinos brand items. In-house made processed and cured meats. Tons of cheese and dairy products. The staff are very polite and helpful if you have any questions. They can even offer you recipes with your ingredients of choice.
This place is a gem. If you're a fan of cured meat make your way. Lots of house-made, well cured, meats in different styles. Buckets of feta the size of your head for a great price. Visit and pick up something interesting for your next party / charcuterie board.
This place is so expensive! You go in to buy just a package of kebapche; next thing you know, and you come out with your own weight in sudjuk, pastarma, lukanka... Thankfully, there's a Royal Bank on Coxwell not too far. Thank you, Royal Bank!
