Don't expect much from customer service on the commercial side, shipping options are terrible, and they just don't seem to care enough to change. Watch out getting sucked into one of their locked-in products like Medeco, as you will be tied to these guys for life, or forced to change every lock in your facility. Medeco makes good stuff, but choose a product line that has MORE THAN ONE SUPPLIER, in case you need to switch down the road. Very frustrating experience just trying to get some spare keys, and one new door lockset.

We came in today to look for kitchen cabinet hardware. Amazing selection of beautiful hardware! Edd was super helpful, friendly and quite a hilarious guy! We ended up purchasing all of our hardware there on the spot. Thanks so much for your help. Would highly recommend!

I needed hardware for all my doors. I did some google research and spoke with one other hardware supplier before deciding to to go with Upper Canada. I was and still am confused with the terminology for different types locks, levers, knobs etc hence I chose a speciality hardware supplier. They have great variety and quality hardware selections but the salesperson was as confused as I was about the terminology and kept throwing out technical terms that I don’t understand except for my door installer. So helpful to a point when some of the items ordered were wrong and only discovered my my contractor began to install. Frustrating much when she kept making the excuses and don’t know how to make sense of her written order.

I should have known about this place since I shop in that area but I somehow didn't. I had a screw "emergency". Workmen were at my house doing a kitchen installation and the screws for the pulls were too short. I needed screws that were a half inch longer and the guys were near the end of the job and would be leaving soon. We rushed to Home Depot and they said they had none but to try Upper Canada down the street. Well.... not only did they have them, but they didn't charge me. When does that happen anymore? The showroom and the selection looks wonderful and should I need knobs, pulls, etc. I will definitely go back. They were short-staffed and said to wait. It wasn't a long wait--and then very quickly--I had the screws. Thank you for reaffirming my faith in customer service.

Customer service failure ! I spoke to a sales person in the showroom on the phone with an inquiry about door lock systems. The fellow discouraged me from coming into the store, suggesting I should just “Google” any questions or product information. If I wanted to spend hours online I would, but I was obviously hoping to see real products in person and speak to a live knowledgeable salesperson.

While Upper Canada Hardware has a beautiful selection of entry sets, knobs, and customer work, they also have incredible customer service and knowledge. Nitesh was such a pleasure to deal with: fair, communicative, knowledgeable, and kind. He went above and beyond; and while I have shopped here previously, it is someone like Nitesh that will keep me coming back!

This comment is specifically for their Upper Canada Vancouver team (Aaron Schur and Jonathan Ruballos). I placed an order back in a November for a residential door with another local supplier and because of some issues they had, the job was transferred from Justin Schur at CP distributers to Aaron Schur with Upper Canada in February. Dealing with Aaron did start off ok at first, but weeks past by and our condos closing date was approaching quickly and he starts to fail miserably at communicating, replying back to me and I need to start hounding him for updates. All I asked for was to pay and to get an installation date confirmed. On April 20th Aaron confirmed to me I'd have both of my requests by end of day and that afternoon he just vanished. There's no contact email for them on the web so I called John his partner and he said he'd pass on the message that I called. We were very upset as the deadline past and no new door for the new owners. We get a text the next morning from Aaron saying Aaron he got upset I called John and he didn't want the stress and is wiping his hands clean. What a joke and what a loser!!! I have an invoice from Upper Canada, an order number from them, an email May5th from their Sudbury office saying their still managing the installation dates and today an email from John saying they have no order from me, no install date and for me to not contact them anymore. What a bunch of lies. Oh I have about 4 months of texting correspondence with Aaron as well. See you in court! DO NOT DEAL WITH UPPER CANADA VANCOUVER!!!
