Buyer beware! This is an update from a five star review of this company after our roof was re:shingled 7 years ago. Homestars hasn't returned our calls and will not publish my updated review (I tried twice). They appear to have blocked me on their site as well. Shame on them. We contacted Three Bro Squirrels Roofing in May 2018 through Homestars, regarding re-shingling the roof of our home. The work was completed speedily and efficiently with a 12 year guarantee, and I was pleased to write a five star review on Homestars. We also had the gutters replaced shortly after, on Toni's recommendation (we used another contractor for the gutters.) I noticed problems with the gutters this past summer, and contacted another Homestars contractor who did an inspection on October 24th 2024. Upon examination, it was discovered that the shingles had come apart and the wood beneath was rotting due to water seepage. There were holes in the roof which was shaking and about to collapse. It would not have survived the next snowfall. With the weather about to change, the first priority was to save our home. The guys worked 24/7 for a couple of days to strip the rotting shingles and wood, and replace the entire roof. I have saved samples of the rotting shingles, nails etc. I also have photographs and video footage of the poor workmanship, the holes, rot and overall damage to our roof. It took me couple of days of searching to locate Three Bros invoice. They were contacted via email and twice by phone. They were completely indifferent and refused to entertain any discussion. Insurance will not cover the repairs as the damage was caused by a contractor's faulty workmanship. The loss we sustained on our home due to the carelessness of this contractor was so great that we are putting the house up for sale and moving. We have neither the time, desire nor finances to get into legal battles, but I am posting this as a warning to make sure that no one else finds themselves in this situation.
I am very satisfied with the result. Ari and his crew were on time, professional, and did an amazing job cleaning up. They finished the installation of roofing and gutter in the given time frame. I would 100% call them again!
So far so good. Honest and did great work. His team does the work. Does not outsource like others we have used. Great work and can do eaves, and down spouts and also siding and was kind onough to cut trees for us away from the roof.
