Tartar sauce in a packet…. No thanks… Too bad you don’t make your own… or at least serve something. Not in a packet like that… Anyways… really wanted to give 4stars…. But I just can’t.
We have fish & chips once in a while, and this quaint retro place has been around for some years. We enjoyed a reasonably price platter. Quick friendly service, thank you.
I ordered twice and both time the potatoes was days old, obviously not fresh. The batter taste like what to expect from Chinese takeout not a fish place and the Skip the Dishes left the food in the lobby of my high rise apartment building near the buzzer. Never again! No ketchup or coleslaw and not enough tartar sauce.
Ordered off of Uber eats! This is an amazing restaurant. Portion sizes were amazing and the fish was fresh. Loved the seafood platter the shrimp really impressed me. I would order here again forsure. You get your moneys worth! Packaging was neat. Side note coleslaw doesn’t come with its typical fish and chips combo. And they don’t give a lot of malt vinegar and tartar sauce.
Whatever some fried fish while on vacation. I enjoy finding hole in the wall places with quality food. This was one of those places. Fish was very good. Large portions. Owners friendly and engaging.
Great place for fish and fresh cut chips. Generous portions that didn't become soggy during take out and while taking our time to eat. Really good thick cut onion rings, crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. Homemade tartar sauce is nicely tangy and goes well with the fried fish. Friendly service, as well. Will be back.
Since all the restaurants were closed to indoor seating last week, a friend came over and ordered fish and chips from this place. I hadn’t ever tried them for here before and I was pleasantly surprised. Portions were good, food was hot and the taste was excellent. I will be ordering there for myself again.
