The staff were friendly and warm. The appointment was efficient to make but I didn't realize until I left that I didn't think it was an excellent pedicure painting. Everything else was good.

My technician was lovely and did an outstanding job. But, as an interior designer I saw that the space could use a few tweaks. One, there's no place to put your things if you want them beside you -- like a coffee. I think that some storage/wall hooks on the wall across from the chairs could alleviate the necessity of looking around to find a place to hang your coat. I use a cane and getting up and down stairs is a barrier to me. Initially, my technician looked annoyed when I asked her.? I don't see that as intrusive. And the white wall, while lovely and clean-looking, could have a dynamic (vinyl) wallpaper that would be more entertaining. I looked around to see if there was coffee. Not seeing any, I carried on .. until my technician asked me if I'd like one, which I certainly did. While the coffee was good and there was cream, no one asked if I would also like sugar and I just didn't want to ask someone to fetch it. Finally, I had to almost press the issue of other available services and actually had to ask for a brochure. I don't expect that the people providing the mani/pedi services are schooled in 'upselling' and I certainly don't want to be 'hustled' but as a former retailer, it does seem like a real missed opportunity. A very pleasant experience overall but I felt I had to work harder than I would preferred. It is, after all, not an inexpensive pedicure and on that particular day, the place was almost empty.
Extremely unprofessional. I booked a 10 am appointment this morning about a week ago. When I arrived, I waited—was told my appointment would start right at 10 "the woman is getting ready", then at 10 I'm told, actually, there's no one there to complete my service, would I mind waiting until 11—that's apparently when the employee normally comes in. I guess coming in at 10 for a client was inconvenient. Ridiculous! Then the manager calls explaining how she's sorry and when I asked when I could reschedule she said she didn't know. Apparently their time is more important than mine. Funny that. No phone call heads up, nothing. Strange.
Had a wonderful, relaxing pedicure today with Bindu. After a long day at work on my feet, this was the ultimate way to unwind. Bindu carefully trimmed my nails and tended to beautifying my feet and it didn't hurt once. She helped me to choose a colour I was happy with. I couldn't be more satisfied.
As a busy working dad, I don’t often take time for myself. So nice to just relax and let go, let someone else take the wheel. It seems in life that is always my job. Thankful for the ability and opportunity and trust afforded me. I think we all know to deserve this more often.
