The lady at the front is so rude. Not at all welcoming. It was my first time there, i needed some guidance. She was making faces and not at all helping me out. Also, the sweets are not fresh.
Walking in this shop for the first time as a solo woman, I found the middle aged asian owner at shop front very intrusive..He didn't just stop at where I come from but also asked my address back home in my country which I found overwhelmingly weird.. he should learn his boundaries as a seller in Canada. Food is cheap so as the vibe?
I had a very bad and disappointed experience I bought samosas for someone and myself five dollars worth which the server gave me three dollars worth and change me for five dollars worth. That's theift .you have to check your purchase before you leave... not very honest.
We tried the samosa with channa. The dish had two samosas served with some gravy and channa, but the onions were cut into large slices, which affected the presentation. Overall, it felt a bit underwhelming and didn’t leave a strong impression. On a positive note, we also tried the sweet piece flavored with mango, and that was very good.
Considering the good reviews we went there to get samosa and Biriyani. Samosa was okay but Biriyani was probably from two days ago; we couldn't eat the chicken which was so dry and tasteless and rice was dry as well. I think they didn't cook Biriyani; just put the chicken on polao rice. Service was not good; the owner doesn't want to talk when asked the price just showed us the price list on the wall. I don't think this store should have such a high rating which clearly misguides people like me.
they were my favorite place for the vegi samosa however the last time, week ago, the samosa was not even what they use to sale. it was looks like the ready samosa and they just fried it and it was not even crispy. disappointed ☹️ I drove far to get there because I was thinking they are the best. plz let me know any best place that have not spicy crispy vegi samosa
New: Customer service has gone down drastically & overcharging for their smaller size samosas. Biggest concern is their hygiene & Toronto public health should inspect this facility immediately. In my recent visit saw flies in all of their food & back window is not glass protected. Old: Have been buying samosas from past 10 years. Hopefully the prices go back to pre-pandemic levels. Food is fine & love their sweet sauce.
