Ordered an oxtail dinner .. 1 over priced.. 2 they have little take out trays not enough food given.. I've been to other places and you get what you pay for lots of food.. this place they rip you off.. this is my first and will be my last time going here..
The Ritz always has great food with authentic Jamaican flair. Whether you order online or go in person. It’s a great substitute for when you don’t cook but want home cooking!
Man I wanted a Rott. Everything seemed closed on Sunday. Discovered this place ( not on Google maps) by accident. So give a try. Wow ... exactly what I was looking for. Goat rotti. So good I took a chicken one home for dinner. Best comfort food ever.
They often get my order wrong (missing items, wrong size ordered etc) so it's kind of a pain to deal with that, but the food is immaculate. Easily the best jerk chicken I've had in the world, and probably my favorite chicken dish period. I think their jerk chicken is slow cooked in the gravy overnight and all day as it just slides off the bone like butter. It also has a distinct sweetness to the sauce that I love, that isn't present on other jerk chicken I've had. Literally one of the best meals you can have in Toronto, I just wish they were more careful with double checking the orders - you can see from all the comments that they do have operational issues, but the food makes up for it. Have to give it a 5 still just for the food quality alone. I come up from NY and it blows me away every time I have Ritz's and I have been going since they had 2 locations on Yonge Street. It's a mandatory dish for me when I visit.
Updated review..I wish I read my old review for this place. It is stale AGAIN ans tastes like refried xhicken in old used oil. It still isnt edible. I cant believe it is still so bad. Try Twice As Nice if you want good fresh seasoned fry chicken . Never again. Lesson finally learned.My mouth feels itchy from the taste. Had to throw it in the garbage. Review 3 yrs ago: ordered on Uber. Meal is disgusting.Fried chicken is STALE. IT SMELLS BAD AND TASTES WORSE. UTTERLY OVERPRICED MEAL .COULDN'T EAT IT.NEVER AGAIN.
I haven't been here for a year cause of the terrible food they gave, but today I decided to give it a another shot. I don't know what they did, damn that some great food.. I had it on 2 stars before ,now it's all 5 stars . Amazing food!!
